Join our friendly and professional independent salon as an Experienced Hairstylist, where you will be able to provide expert hair care services to a great clientele with all hair types! I offer a commission-based subcontract pay model and supply all pricing, advertising, products and tools needed, including traditional styling tools & a natural, non-toxic color line from Italy called Earthia. Commission pay ranges from 40%-50% of services completed & the ability to set your own work schedule . Personal book-keeping & quarterly/yearly taxes owed will be the stylists responsibility as a 1099 subcontractor. You will be able to play a key role in delivering quality haircuts, styling, and coloring while maintaining excellent customer service and salon standards. This is a salon that allows you freedom to grow, independence while the support of a team, & the ability to be creative in a friendly & calm environment

Responsibilities:
* Perform hair cutting, styling, and coloring services
* Conduct client consultations to determine desired styles and treatments
* Recommend products suited to client needs
* Maintain sanitation and safety compliance within the salon
* Keep the salon clean and organized
* Good time management with appointments
* Schedule appointments using customer booking software (Vagaro Booking System- no experience required, will train)
* Deliver exceptional customer service and build client relationships

Preferred Qualifications:
* 5 years salon experience
* State Cosmetology License
* Skilled in hair cutting techniques and hair coloring
* Strong client consultation and some product knowledge
* Familiarity with sanitation and safety standards
* Effective time management and communication skills
* Attention to detail with a friendly and professional demeanor
* Experience in formal styling (but not required)
